You know the one...the guys from "Average Joe's" gym need to raise a bunch of money to save the day, so the first thing they try is a carwash?

Well, the Tampa Thunder decided "Hey!  That worked really well in the movie!  LET'S HAVE A CARWASH!!!"

Come help support the Thunder and the AWESOME kids from Gaither High School on Saturday, Feb. 25th from 9am to 3pm at the Dairy Queen across from the Citrus Park Mall.

If it will help you to decide to come have some good clean fun with us, rest assured that none of the players (nor the coaches, for that matter) will be in Speedos or slow-motion window-washing scenes.

Since its inception, the Tampa Thunder have been proud and honored to have been 'adopted' by the Safety Harbor community.  This great city has not only given the Thunder a place to practice each week (the Safety Harbor Community Center", but they've opened their arms and hearts to heed the call for financial support as well.  The team received the proceeds from beer and wine sales at the Third Friday Music Festival in Safety Harbor on November. 17.  The whole team was there to help and, as Jim said, at the end of a night of pouring beer and tapping kegs he "smelled like college"!  Many thanks to the city of Safety Harbor and Budweiser for allowing us to be a part of this great event.
